Who would benefit from a neuropsychological assessment?
Often following a concussion or traumatic brain injury, MRI’s & CT scans do not reveal any abnormalities. However, individuals can experience a pattern of symptoms commonly referred to as “Post-Concussion Syndrome.
- These symptoms usually include chronic headache, nausea, lightheadedness, dizziness and attention/concentration difficulties.
- Anxiety, PTSD and Adjustment Disorders are clinical sequelae not diagnosable on MRI & CT scans.
How it works
All of our evaluations happen virtually through our HIPAA compliant telemedicine platform. Once a patient has been scheduled into our system, they are given assessments to be completed prior to the appointment. The Psychologists will perform the required evaluation virtually in 45-60 minutes. Once appointment is over, report is completed and sent to the referrer within 2 business days.
